The November issue of the Monson Public Schools District Digest is now available. The District Digest serves as one way we aim to keep our community informed, connected, and engaged in the work happening throughout Monson Public Schools.

Monson Public Schools’ breakfast, PreK snack and lunch menus fo r December 2025  are now available online. Families are encouraged to review the menus to help plan ahead. Monson Public Schools is expanding Career Pathways that help students discover their interests and prepare for life after graduation. This year, Monson High School introduced new Medical Assisting and Advanced Manufacturing pathways, with an Early College Pathway coming in 2026–2027. We’re now seeking family input to help determine our next pathway. Your feedback will guide future opportunities for students.

Happy October, ECC families! In this month’s Counseling Newsletter, Mrs. Paige shares classroom highlights, SEL lessons, upcoming events, and fall-themed book recommendations to support social-emotional growth at home.

In the ECC October 2025 Newsletter, Principal Penny Ann Manteria shares her pride in how quickly students have settled into routines and thanks families for their support. Highlights include our Shining Stars for October, reminders for families, and key upcoming events like Parent–Teacher Conferences, Open House, Trunk or Treat, and the PBIS Dress-Up Parade.

The Monson PTSA welcomes parents, guardians, teachers, staff, and students to the next meeting on Wednesday, October 1, at 6:00 PM in the ECC Library at Quarry Hill Community School. Join us to hear updates on current initiatives, learn about upcoming events and fundraisers, and explore ways to get involved. Together, we can make a meaningful impact in supporting our students and strengthening the Monson Public Schools community.

Superintendent Paul N. Foster has launched his Entry Plan—a roadmap for listening, learning, and building relationships in his first months with Monson Public Schools. The plan is designed to celebrate what makes Monson special, identify opportunities for growth, and shape a shared vision for the future. Families are invited to join upcoming Listening Sessions or share feedback through the community-wide survey.

Monson High School will be closed on Tuesday, September 16 due to a plumbing issue. Athletics will continue as scheduled, and Quarry Hill and Granite Valley will have a normal school day.
