Superintendent Paul N. Foster has launched his Entry Plan—a roadmap for listening, learning, and building relationships in his first months with Monson Public Schools. The plan is designed to celebrate what makes Monson special, identify opportunities for growth, and shape a shared vision for the future. Families are invited to join upcoming Listening Sessions or share feedback through the community-wide survey.

Monson High School will be closed on Tuesday, September 16 due to a plumbing issue. Athletics will continue as scheduled, and Quarry Hill and Granite Valley will have a normal school day.

The Monson PTSA invites parents, guardians, teachers, staff, and students to the first meeting of the year on Wednesday, Sept. 3 at 6 PM in the ECC Library at Quarry Hill Community School or online via Google Meet. Learn about upcoming PTSA events, fundraisers, and volunteer opportunities, and discover how joining the Monson PTSA can keep you connected, support your child’s education, and strengthen our Monson Public Schools community.

Monson Public Schools’ breakfast and lunch menus for August and September 2025 are now available online at monsonschools.com/food-services. Families are encouraged to review the menus as they plan for the new school year. As a reminder, all students receive healthy meals at no cost each day through the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs under the Community Eligibility Provision.

The 2025–2026 bus routes are now posted at monsonschools.com/transportation. Routes are subject to change, so please check back for updates. Families should have students ready 5 minutes before pickup. Please note: transportation is not provided for School Choice students.
