Over the past seven months, Superintendent Paul Foster has been listening, learning, and engaging with the Monson Public Schools community as part of his Entry Plan process.
During this time, he met with students, families, educators, support staff, town leaders, and community partners. Through more than one hundred individual and small-group conversations, classroom visits, events, and data review, Superintendent Foster sought to better understand the strengths of our district and the opportunities that lie ahead. One message stood out clearly throughout this process:
"Monson is a community that cares deeply about its children."
The Entry Plan Findings Report reflects what was learned through these conversations. It highlights the strengths that make Monson special, identifies challenges our schools are working to address, and outlines opportunities for growth that will help guide the development of a new strategic plan for the district. As Superintendent Foster shares in the report:
"This report is grounded in your voices, your experiences, and your hopes for our schools."
We invite our families, staff, and community members to read the full report and learn more about the insights gathered during this important listening process.
Together, this work will help shape the future of Monson Public Schools and our shared mission of ensuring every student is known, supported, challenged, and inspired.
