MPS Summer Office Hours

Please note that Monson Public Schools offices operate on a modified schedule during the summer months.

Unlike many organizations that operate year-round with full staffing, Monson Public Schools' staffing schedules vary based on employee contracts. Nearly all district employees work a 186-day school-year contract. Most office staff and approximately half of our administrators work a 206-day contract, providing support before and after the school year. Employees who work year-round (261-day contracts) are expected to take the majority of their earned vacation time while school is not in session.

This summer schedule allows the district to continue providing services while accommodating contractual work schedules and employee vacation time during the months when students are not in school.

For Summer 2026, our offices are open to the public during the following hours:

Central Business Office	Tuesday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Early Childhood Center at Quarry Hill	Tuesday and Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Granite Valley School	Wednesday and Thursday, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Monson High School	Tuesday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
