Spring 2028 Costa Rica & Panama Trip
Monson High School is excited to announce an upcoming Spring 2028 educational journey to Costa Rica and Panama! The trip is open to students currently in Grades 8–11.
Families interested in learning more are invited to attend an information meeting on Thursday, September 24, where details about the itinerary, student experience, safety, costs, payment plans, and enrollment will be shared.

About the Trip
Over nine days, students will explore the landscapes, wildlife, culture, and history of Central America while traveling with a full-time Tour Director and learning from expert local guides.
Trip highlights include:
Exploring the geothermal hot springs and diverse wildlife of Rincón de la Vieja National Park
Ziplining through the Costa Rican canopy
Kayaking on Lake Arenal and visiting La Fortuna Waterfall
Whitewater rafting on the Sarapiquí River
Visiting the Biomuseo and Miraflores Visitor Center to learn about the Panama Canal
During the information meeting, families will learn more about what is included in the trip, what students will experience, student safety, available payment plans, and other important trip details.
Trip spots are limited, and families who attend the information meeting will receive first access to enroll.
This experience will offer students an opportunity to connect classroom learning with the world around them while experiencing the culture, history, and natural environment of Costa Rica and Panama firsthand.
