Working Meeting

Date 5-28-25

Present:  Alison Morgan (Chair), Jamie Murphy, Colleen Flynn, Karen Nothe-Valley, and Peter Wiggins (absent) 

Note: This working meeting was held in-person and not recorded. 

Ms. Morgan called the meeting to order at  4:41  p.m.

Meeting information: 

Sole purpose of approving Superintendent Contract 

Discussed Superintendent Contract. Only (1) item changed since the School Committee looked at it. 

There was a slight verbiage change in section VI (C).  It now reads:  The Committee will not discipline the Superintendent based on an anonymous complaint alone. Complaints may be subject to investigation and the Superintendent will be given the opportunity to respond in such an investigation.

• Motion by Alison Morgan to approve Employment Agreement by and between The Monson School Committee and Paul Foster for the term 7/1/2025 through 6/30/2028 (Second by Colleen Flynn)      

• No further discussion
