Highlights from this month’s newsletter include:
Families will receive Amplify reading data the week of October 6, and Safe Words in School lessons are underway to support safety and social-emotional learning.
A GV ROCKS Spotlight celebrates Mr. Mike on National Custodian’s Day for his dedication and care in keeping our school safe and welcoming.
The first Wellness Week of the year begins October 20–24, focusing on healthy habits and connection.
Upcoming events include Parent-Teacher Conferences (Oct 8), School Council (Oct 23), PTSA Trunk or Treat (Oct 25), Grades 5–6 Halloween Dance (Oct 30), and a schoolwide Monster Mash PBIS event (Oct 31).
Thunderbirds Reading Program logs are due Nov 3 for a free ticket to the Nov 29 game.
Granite Valley will hold its annual Veterans Day Assembly on Nov 7 at 9:30 AM—families are encouraged to RSVP.
