Attention all sophomores: The Class of 2024 has a President, a Vice President and a Secretary, but does not have a Treasurer. Any sophomore interested in running for the office of Treasurer for the class of 2024 Please notify either Mr. Morin or Mrs. Dionne right away.

Counseling Department - PSAT & PACT Testing

Monson High School will be offering Practice ACT and PSAT tests to students in grades 10 & 11 on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Monson High School from 8:00 am to approximately 11:30 am. Students interested in taking the practice test MUST register by Wednesday, September 15, 2021 through the Google Form posted in the Counseling Classrooms. There is no fee for this test. Please see Mr. Dearing or Mrs. Sorel if you have any questions.


Juniors and Seniors- Please visit the Counseling Department to view the colleges that have signed up to meet with Monson High School students. As colleges sign up, they will be added to the list. Please make sure to check back frequently to see if a college you are interested in has been added to the list. You will need to make sure to sign-up for the visit of your choice in the “College Rep Visit” binder located on Mrs. Ladue’s desk.


SCHOOL PICTURE DAY IS COMING…..

Picture day is Thursday, Sept 23rd. You will get the picture forms to take home to your parent/guardian a few days before so you don’t lose them!


Attention MHS. The Community Service Club is back! We will meet every Wed after school in room 206. All are welcome. The first meeting will be Wed. Sept 29. If you have any questions please see Mr. Roebuck. Start thinking about some projects that you would like to see addressed.


Sports - Golf - MHS 10.5 Ware 13.5. Even though we lost, a very impressive five under par, 31!


Attention student drivers: Parking Permit applications are now available in the Main Office. We will need a copy of your driver’s license and vehicle registration along with the $45 fee. Permits MUST be completed by September 22nd.


Cross Country will be dismissed at 1:45 today for their meet a Hampshire.

Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Soccer team on their 7-0 victory Vs. Southwick yesterday. Ciara Monaghan led the way offensively with 2 goals and an assist while Rylee Bonneau, Kendall Bodak, Emmy Finnegan, Tennessee Murphy and Sierra Martinson also scored in a balanced offensive attack.


ATTENTION STUDENTS: The Technology department has informed us that chromebooks MUST be in their cases. If your chromebook needs servicing and it is not in its case, it will NOT be accepted for service.

Attention Monson High School: The quiz team will be having its first meeting of the year on Wednesday, September 22nd, after school in Room 311. Anyone from grades 9-12 is welcome to join as we prepare for another season of As Schools Match Wits. If you have any questions, please see either Mrs. Hope or Mr. Mason.

Attention MHS students. The Chess club will start in October. Beginners up to Grandmasters are all welcome. Stay tuned for details. Come play the moves of Fischer, Spassky, Tal and Botvinick! If you have any questions please see Mr. Roebuck in room 206. That is all.
