34 "on the spot' decisions were made by American International College, Baypath University, Elms College, Holyoke Community College, Springfield Technical Community College, Springfield College, Worcester State University, Westfield State University, and Western New England University.


Year-to-date (Class of 2022):

49 students have submitted college applications

150 Applications have been submitted

60 Acceptances have been made

$329,000 in merit aid has been awarded

Big Y Scholarship for Academic Excellence November 1-February 1, 2022

The $500-$2,000 Big Y scholarship is available to students who have their permanent residence in western or central Massachusetts, Norfolk County, MA, or the state of Connecticut. Applicants must be planning to attend an accredited college or university. Selection is based upon transcript of grades, College Board scores if applicable, letters of recommendation, and personal resume. Stand Up to Distracted Driving Scholarship December 1, 2021

Distracted driving, including due to texting and other cell phone use, is a serious issue that leads to hundreds of thousands of accidents and injuries in the United States each year. The problem is especially prominent among teen and young adult drivers, and teens are also at a greater risk of being the victim of a distracted driving accident. At Kanoski Bresney, we want to support students who do their part to fight the problem of distracted driving. Through the Kanoski Bresney Stand Up to Distracted Driving Scholarship program, we are offering five scholarships, in the amount of $2,000 each, to students throughout the U.S. who are pursuing higher education at the undergraduate or graduate level. Medical Scrubs Collection Scholarship December 15, 2021

Medical Scrubs Collection is dedicated to recognizing the individuals who go above and beyond to help others every day. Gen and Kelly Scholarship December 31, 2021

Walter S. Barr Scholarship December 31,2021

These awards for undergraduate education are made annually by the Scholarship Committee to residents of the communities who are members of the senior classes of Hampden County Private or Public secondary schools. The competition is decided on the basis of school records, college entrance examinations, general attainments and financial need. Awards will be continued through the four year course if the student’s record, need and behavior justify such continuance.

SuperCollege Scholarship Monthly

Applicants must be high school students, college undergraduates, graduate students, or adult students residing in the U.S. and attending or planning to attend any accredited college or university within the next 12 months. All Star Verified Scholarship December 31, 2021

Applicants must be high school, college, graduate, or adult students or parents of high school and college students. This is a merit-based scholarship and financial need is not considered.
