MHS ANNOUNCEMENTS - 9/23

This Friday, September 24th will be our first spirit day, Flannel Friday! Show your school spirit and celebrate the first official week of fall by wearing a flannel shirt on Friday.

Attention All Students: We will be having a spirit week starting this coming Monday, September 27th. The individual days are:

Monday: Monday: Color Day - 7th is Red, 8th is Yellow; 9th is Orange; 10th is White; 11th is Green; 12th is Pink

Tuesday: Dress as the first letter of your name

Wednesday: Formal Day

Thursday: Decades Day

7th is the 1990’s; 8th is the 1950’s; 9th is the 2000’s; 10th is the 1970’S; 11th: is the 1960’; and 12th is the 1980’s

Friday: Mustang Gear or Blue and White

Cross Country for 9/22- The Boys' cross country team defeated Mohawk and Pope Francis yesterday and the Girls defeated Mohawk.

Attention High School Students: The Poetry Slam Club will begin meeting on Mondays after school in room 205. Our first meeting will be on October 18th--no experience is necessary! Please see Mrs. Walker if you are interested in joining.


Attention MHS students: The Chess club will start in October. Beginners up to Grandmasters are all welcome. Stay tuned for details. Come play the moves of Fischer, Spassky, Tal and Botvinick! If you have any questions please see Mr. Roebuck in room 206. That is all.


Hello High School Students: Art Club will be held on Tuesdays after school, starting Sept. 28. You may work on murals, paintings, drawings, clay and photography ! Creative minds welcome!
