A message from Superintendent Clarke:

Good morning, everyone.

This is Cheryl Clarke, Superintendent. I am calling for a couple of reasons. First, I want to let you know that we have been experiencing technical difficulties with sending emails. I understand that some of you did not receive prior emails that were sent or they went to your spam folder. We are working on this problem and we should be up and running on Monday.

Secondly, once email is functioning again, you will be receiving more detailed information and a survey regarding the proposed plans for the fall. This time, we will be asking for your child’s name, how you anticipate your child getting to school, whether your child will be purchasing lunch and which plan you feel fits best for your family.

Finally, to support you in these decisions, I will be holding additional Zoom sessions. Monday at 5:00 p.m. will be a repeat of my prior Zoom sessions this past week for parents of children at all grade levels. I will explain each of the proposed models and answer as best I can any questions you might have. On Tuesday, I will hold two Zoom drop-in hours from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. I will be signed on, and the time will be devoted to answering questions and addressing concerns. Just drop in at any time during those hours. Links for these Zoom sessions will be sent on Monday, but mark your calendars!

I thank you for your patience and support during this challenging time in our world. Please do not hesitate to contact me at 413-267-4150 or via email at clarkec@monsonschools.com.

We will get through this together!
