ATTENTION JUNIORS & SENIORS: Stop by the Counseling Office to see the list of colleges that are coming to MHS. The list is updated daily so stop by frequently!


Any student who has or will turn 18 during the school year and wishes to register to vote, please see Mr. Roebuck in room 206. It costs nothing!



Monday & Tuesday – Application Completion Workshops-sign up in the Counseling Office if you need help with your applications.

Monday through Thursday – Western New England, Springfield, Bay Path, AIC, STCC, HCC and Elms Colleges will conduct on- the- spot Decision Day Programs. Sign up in the Counseling Office for a time slot.

Friday – Our 3rd Annual Senior Application Recognition Assembly and return of Mascot Madness! See the Counseling Office with any questions.


The AMERICAN RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE is being held here on Nov. 14th from 12-6. If you are 16 years old or older and would like to donate, please see Mrs. Pisciotta for an appointment. Sixteen year olds will need parent permission.


The AMIME/MENGA CLUB is back! If you are interested in joining, please see Mr. Tremblay in Room 312.


During the month of November, MHS will be holding a WINTER CLOTHING DRIVE. Donations of lightly used coats, new hats and new gloves will be greatly appreciated. Other winter clothing items will be accepted as well. There will be a collection box outside the Main Office. The goal is to collect at least 100 items. Please contribute and make donations from November 2nd through December 1st. Thank You!


Parent/Guardian and Student Athlete Mandatory Winter/Spring meeting (for those who missed the August meeting) is Monday 11/20 from 4-5 at MHS in the Cafeteria. All information and paperwork is on the Monson High School District Website @ under Departments then Athletics. All requirements must be completed and turned in by 11/20 5PM in order for your son or daughter to participate.

ATTENTION JUNIORS & SENIORS: The Armed Forces Vocational Aptitude Battery test (ASVAB) is scheduled to be given here on Thursday, December 14th starting at 7:45 in Room 208. Please stop by the Counseling Office with any questions or to sign up.

The GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY TEAM finished their season running at Western Mass Championships on the frozen tundra of Northfield Mountain. Katie Dold, Haley Fennyery, Katie Burnham and Holly Cote all had strong performances. It was a great season and their coach is very proud of them!


CONGRATULATIONS to the BOYS CROSS COUNTRY TEAM for finishing 4th out of 19 teams at the Western Mass Championships on Saturday. Dan Fiester and Jack Mitchell have both qualified to run at the State Championships in Wrentham this weekend.


CONGRATULATIONS to the GIRLS VARSITY SOCCER TEAM. The girls dropped a 2-1 overtime decision to Monument Mountain on Thursday night but still had a fantastic season. The team changed leagues, moved up a division and finished with a record of 13-3-4. Remember…good things happen when you work hard and have fun! Well done, ladies!
