ATTENTION JUNIORS & SENIORS: Stop by the Counseling Office to see the list of colleges that are coming to MHS. The list is updated daily so stop by frequently!

 

The LATE REGISTRATION DEADLINE for the Nov. 4th SAT TEST is Wed., Oct. 25th. Please see the Counseling Office with any questions.

 

Any student who has or will turn 18 during the school year and wishes to register to vote, please see Mr. Roebuck in room 206. It costs nothing!

 

The AMERICAN RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE is being held here on Nov. 14th from 12-6. If you are 16 years old or older and would like to donate, please see Mrs. Pisciotta for an appointment. Sixteen year olds will need parent permission.

 

ATTENTION ALL SENIORS! SENIOR PORTRAITS must be submitted to Mr. Morin digitally, in JPEG format, no later than December 1st.

 

ATTENTION MHS FAMILY: The Community Service Club is sponsoring a tissue and sanitizer drive to help ward off the upcoming cold and flu season. Please donate boxes of tissue or bottles of hand sanitizer to Room 206. We are also accepting monetary donations. There will also be a table set up in the cafeteria for donations. Thank you for your support!

 

Did you know there are over 1 Billion children in the world living in poverty? What can you do to help, even in a small way? Donate to the STAND personal hygiene drive through Oct. 27th. Donations must be sealed/unopened.

To date we have collected over 450 items. SAP who has collected the most wins a breakfast.

STAND will be meeting Thurs. We will be working on the presentation.

 

The HALLOWEEN DANCE will be Saturday, Oct. 28th. Top costumes for each grade overall will get free admission to the Winter Carnival. Guest forms are in the office.

 

There will be a ROCKETS and ROBOTICS club meeting tomorrow (Thurs. 10/19) in Mr. Fletcher’s room (313) right after school.

 

There will be an OUTING CLUB meeting next Wednesday (10/25) in Mr. Fletcher’s room (313) right after school. Anyone interested in either meeting should attend, we are looking for more members!

 

AS SCHOOLS MATCH WITS will meet after school TODAY in Room 305.

 

ATTENTION FRESHMEN CLASS OF 2021: All Pie order forms and money are due TODAY!! NO EXCEPTIONS! Please turn in forms and all money to Mrs. Gouvin, Mrs. Sorel or your class officers. Thank You!

SPORTS NEWS TODAY!

 

The GOLF TEAM has qualified for Western MA- Congratulations! Monday, 10/23 at The Orchards in South Hadley at 10 a.m. Best of Luck to the team!

 

CONGRATULATIONS to the GIRLS VARSITY SOCCER TEAM on their 2-2 tie vs. Southwick yesterday. Lily Fabian scored both goals while Shannon Jalbert added both assists. Practice 2:30-4:30 today.

 

For the second year in a row the GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY TEAM has reached double digit victories after defeating St. Mary's and Pioneer to better their record to 10-3. Monson took the top 4 spots and for the second week in a row Haley Fennyery won the race, followed by Katie Dold, Grace Johnson, and Katie Burnham. Also scoring for Monson - Ashleigh Barret, Samantha Shrewsbury and Julia Martinson. Everyone had a great race.

 

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE GIRLS JV SOCCER TEAM ON IT'S 5 TO 1 VICTORY OVER SOUTHWICK YESTERDAY. ABBY BRIDGES SCORED TWO GOALS TO LEAD THE WAY. HANNAH FLAGG ADDED A GOAL AND AN ASSIST. CAMILLE LOBIK PITCHED IN A GOAL AND MACKENZIE DEVRIES, GABIE ROBERT AND LEANNA CRAVEN HAD ASSISTS. PRACTICE TODAY 3PM TIL 430PM
